The main viewing location is Georges Heights in Headland Park, Mosman, offering excellent views of the harbour. Access is available via several transport options:
- By car: Limited parking at Georges Heights and Middle Head; best to use walking, cycling, or public transport.
- By bus: Route 111 runs every 30 minutes, with increased frequency from 12:00 to 16:00.
- By ferry: Arrive at Taronga Zoo’s Athol Wharf and connect via bus or coastal walking track.
- By private boat: Drop off at Clifton Gardens Wharf near Chowder Bay.
Facilities include accessible toilets and ranger patrols for safety. Visitors should follow park guidelines to protect the natural environment.
Parking is limited and timed restrictions apply; parking permits from Mosman Council or NSW National Parks are not valid in Harbour Trust areas. Visitors are encouraged to use public transport or active travel methods.
The area is partially accessible for wheelchairs and strollers, though some uneven surfaces and stairs exist. Emergency contacts are provided for ranger and security assistance.
