What to Expect

Explorers Play is a vibrant playgroup designed for families with babies and young children up to 3 years old. It provides a warm and inclusive environment where children can socialise, explore, and develop new skills through engaging play activities. Parents have the chance to connect with other families and chat with skilled early childhood specialists.

During the sessions, children will enjoy group time filled with songs, books, and enticing activities that encourage movement, play, and communication. The playgroup welcomes grandparents and siblings, valuing diversity and fostering a strong community spirit.

Activity Details

This playgroup runs weekly on Tuesdays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am throughout the year, starting on Tuesday, 13 January 2026. Each session lasts 1.5 hours and is held indoors, ensuring it goes ahead regardless of weather conditions. There will be no playgroup on Tuesday, 27 January 2026.

The sessions are free of charge and led by Elise, an experienced early childhood specialist who supports children and parents in play and exploration. Families seeking specialist developmental support are warmly encouraged to attend.

Explorers Play takes place at Plumtree Children’s Services, located at Yabsley Avenue, Jarvie Park, Marrickville, NSW, 2204. The venue is family-friendly and easily accessible, providing a safe and welcoming space for children and adults alike.
