What to Expect
Discover the joy of creativity in this engaging community art project designed for all ages. Using paint and collage, participants will explore places that hold special meaning in their lives. No prior art experience is needed, making it perfect for families and individuals alike.
Each session is guided by The Art Bus, offering expert support and inspiration as you experiment with different materials and share your stories. The project encourages connection, reflection, and artistic expression in a welcoming environment.
By the end of the 5 weeks, your unique artwork will be part of a community exhibition, celebrating the diverse stories and creativity of participants.
Activity Details
This free program runs every Thursday for 5 consecutive weeks, starting on 2026-02-12 and concluding on 2026-03-12. Sessions are from 10:30 to 12:30, providing a relaxed mid-morning creative outlet.
Ages of participants are open to all, making it a wonderful opportunity for parents to engage with their children in a shared artistic experience. Bookings are essential, but you only need to register once to attend all sessions.
Materials and guidance are provided, so just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to explore your favourite places through art.

The workshops take place at Bower Cottages Community Centre, located at 200 Bower Road, Semaphore Park SA. This accessible community venue offers a friendly atmosphere and ample space for creative activities.
