Activity Details

The day begins with a guided visit to the Art Museum to explore the exhibitions 'Betty Kuntiwa Pumani: maḻatja-maḻatja (those who come after)' and 'David Sequeira: The Shape of Music.' After the tour, families will come together for a hands-on painting workshop where everyone can create their own artwork inspired by the exhibits.

The program is designed for children aged 5 to 12 years and their carers, making it a shared creative experience. The workshop runs from 10:00 to 14:00, with a light lunch included to keep energy levels high.

Location and Access

The workshop takes place at Bundanon, located at 170 Riversdale Road, Illaroo. The venue is set in a beautiful natural environment, providing a peaceful backdrop for artistic exploration.

Visitors receive entry to the Art Museum as part of their ticket, along with all necessary art materials. The Centre for Creative Learning and Boyd Education Centre host the sessions depending on the date.

Tickets are priced at $10 per person for general admission, with a discounted member price of $8. This fee covers the guided tour, workshop materials, and lunch.

Bookings can be made online, and it is advised to secure your place early to avoid disappointment. The workshop dates are Wednesday 16 July, Friday 18 July, Monday 29 September, and Tuesday 30 September 2025, each running from 10:00 to 14:00.
