Fawkner Fastbreak offers a safe and welcoming environment where young people aged 12 to 18 can enjoy indoor sports like basketball and soccer. The sessions focus on fun, teamwork, and encouraging everyone to give it a go, regardless of experience. Friendly youth workers are present to support and keep the atmosphere positive.
Snacks are provided to keep energy levels up, and no booking is required—just drop in and join the fun. This is a great way for kids to meet friends and have a healthy, active break after school.
The sessions run weekly on Thursdays from 15:15 to 17:00, starting on 2026-07-23 and continuing through mid-September. The program is free of charge and designed specifically for young people aged 12 to 18 years old.
Please note the heat policy: if the temperature reaches 28 degrees Celsius or higher, the session will be cancelled due to lack of air-conditioning in the venue.
Fawkner Fastbreak takes place at the Fawkner Community Sports Hall, located at 77 Jukes Rd, Fawkner. The venue is easily accessible by public transport:
