What to Expect
Begin your day with a peaceful sunrise meditation on the beach, followed by a mobility-focused yoga flow infused with breathwork. Each session varies weekly, aligning with seasons, elements, and moon cycles to keep your practice fresh and engaging.
After the yoga flow, enjoy a refreshing swim in the water to invigorate your body and mind. The session concludes with community coffee and chats across the road, fostering connection and support.
This event is designed to nurture mental health, reduce anxiety, and promote natural mood boosters through movement, breathwork, and social connection.
Activity Details
Arrive by 6:15 AM to settle in and leave your belongings inside. Meditation starts promptly at 6:30 AM on the beach, followed by yoga and breathwork at 6:40 AM indoors. The swim begins at 7:20 AM, and the session wraps up by 7:30 AM.
No prior experience is necessary; all practices are guided and accessible. Bring a yoga mat, towel, swimmers, water bottle, and wear comfortable layered gym clothes.
The class operates on a donation basis, with a suggested minimum of $15 to cover costs and support the South Melbourne Life Saving Volunteers.

This event was created in response to mental health challenges during the pandemic, emphasizing community, connection, and natural wellness.
The facilitator, Eliza Hilmer, brings extensive experience and a compassionate approach to help participants feel supported and empowered.
Classes remain donation-based to ensure wellness is accessible to all, with hardship options available upon request.
Please bring your own equipment and dress appropriately for an active outdoor session.
