Bring your preschooler to a warm, welcoming story time designed especially for children aged 3 to 5 years. These sessions focus on strengthening language and social skills through singing, talking, reading, and playful activities. It's a wonderful opportunity for your little one to develop early literacy habits while having fun.
You'll enjoy interactive storytelling that encourages your child to engage with books and peers in a supportive environment. These gatherings also provide a chance to meet other parents and carers, creating a community around your child's learning journey.
The story time sessions run for one hour and are held on Mondays at 9:30 AM. The program is designed to make library visits a regular and enjoyable part of your child's routine. Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children at all times to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Please note the library's guidelines: children under 10 must remain within sight of a responsible adult, and respect for personal boundaries is emphasized. Staff are available to support a positive experience for all participants.
The event takes place at Beaudesert Public Library, located at 58 Brisbane Street, Beaudesert QLD 4285. The library is a child-friendly space that welcomes families and offers easy access for strollers and young children.
Parking and public transport options are available nearby. The library staff are happy to assist with any accessibility needs to ensure everyone can participate comfortably.
Photography is managed carefully to respect personal space; please inform staff if you prefer your child not to be included in photos or physical interactions such as handshakes or high-fives. The library strives to maintain a safe, respectful, and enjoyable atmosphere for all children and their families.
Supervision by parents or carers is essential throughout the session. If you prefer your child not to engage with other participants or staff, please stay close to support their comfort and participation.
These story time sessions are free to attend and do not require prior booking. Simply arrive a few minutes early to settle in and enjoy the experience. The program runs on multiple Mondays: 9 March, 16 March, 23 March, and 30 March 2026, all from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
This is a fantastic, no-cost opportunity to nurture your child's early literacy and social skills in a friendly community setting.
