Activity Details
The program runs multiple times weekly, with each session lasting one hour from 09:30 to 10:30. It is part of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP), funded to support eligible seniors aged 65 and over. To participate, you need a referral through My Aged Care and a Social Support or Meal Referral Code.
The exercises involve gentle movements using resistance bands and light weights, focusing on improving balance and breathing techniques. The class is suitable for seniors seeking to enhance their physical health in a safe and enjoyable way.

Important Information
Booking is essential to secure your place in the class, with a cost of $7 per session covered through a My Aged Care referral. Eligibility requires registration with My Aged Care and obtaining the necessary referral codes, which the Positive Ageing and Inclusion team can assist with.

Bookings are required and can be made by calling (08) 8375 6703. The cost is $7 per session, payable through a My Aged Care referral. Assistance with registration and referral codes is available through the City of Marion's Positive Ageing and Inclusion team.
Regular attendance is encouraged to gain the most benefit from the program, which runs on multiple dates through February and March 2026. Early booking is recommended due to limited spaces.
