Bring your recipe and story to life in this engaging workshop celebrating the rich and diverse flavours of Wyndham. This event invites adults to share their culinary heritage and personal stories, creating meaningful recipe cards using Canva. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with the community and showcase your unique cultural background.
Participants will learn how to create a recipe card and share their story using the Canva platform. The workshop encourages sharing photos of you, others cooking the dish, or the dish itself to enrich your submission. By joining, you automatically enter the Flavours of Wyndham competition, adding an exciting element to the experience.
This workshop is designed for adults aged 18 and over. Please bring your recipe and story, along with any photos you wish to include. The session will run for two hours, providing ample time to craft your recipe card and receive guidance. Note that only one workshop booking per person is allowed.
The event will be held at the Tarneit Community Learning Centre, located at 150 Sunset Views Boulevard, Tarneit VIC 3029. The venue is accessible and welcoming, situated within the Tarneit Library precinct, making it easy to find and attend.
This is a free event, but bookings are essential to secure your place. The workshop is strictly for adults aged 18 and over; those under 18 will not be admitted. By registering, you agree to the Terms and Conditions and EventBrite’s Privacy Policy, as EventBrite manages the booking platform.
The workshop is free of charge. Bookings can be made online through the Wyndham City Council event platform. Early registration is recommended due to limited spaces. The submission period for recipes and stories runs from 16 February to 16 March 2026.
