What to Expect

Activity Details
The course runs weekly on Mondays from June 29 to July 13, 2026, with each session lasting from 10:00 to 12:30. Attendance at all three sessions is essential to gain the full benefit of the course and develop your skills progressively.
The fee for the entire 3-week course is $20, payable upon booking. You only need to register once to attend all classes, ensuring a straightforward and convenient enrollment process.
Please note that previous attendees should not apply, as the content will be consistent with prior sessions. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Location and Access
The course is held at Lionel Bowen Library, located at 669-673 Anzac Parade, Maroubra. The library is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, providing support for participants with access requirements upon request.
Arrive 10 minutes early to settle in and ensure the session starts promptly. Latecomers cannot be admitted to maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Participants must be library members to attend; membership is free and can be obtained online or at any branch. Booking and prepayment are essential, with a strict policy requiring attendance at all sessions.
Covid-19 safety measures apply, and attendees must comply with all terms and conditions, which may be updated with short notice. Failure to comply may result in ticket cancellation.
Photography and video recording may occur for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be recorded, please notify staff before the event.
Booking and Prices
Bookings are made through Eventbrite, with a total cost of $20 for all three classes. Refunds are available for cancellations made at least one day before the event start date, minus Eventbrite fees.
If you cannot attend, please cancel your ticket promptly to allow others to participate. Tickets are non-transferable.
