What to Expect

Carers of people with disability, mental illness, or ageing loved ones can enjoy a welcoming and supportive environment. This event offers a gentle stroll along the scenic Frankston Foreshore boardwalk, perfect for some fresh air and light exercise.

After the walk, participants can relax and connect over complimentary morning tea. It’s a wonderful chance to meet others in similar situations and share experiences.

You’ll also receive updates on news, services, and supports available to carers, helping you stay informed and empowered.

Activity Details

- Monthly gatherings held on Thursdays from 09:30 to 11:00.

- Dates include February 6, March 6, April 3, May 1, June 5, July 3, August 7, September 4, October 2, November 6, and December 4, 2025.

- The event is free of charge and open to all carers.

This is a gentle, inclusive activity designed to support carers’ wellbeing and social connection.

Location and Access

Meet on the foreshore boardwalk next to Frankston Life Saving Club, located at 1N Long Island Drive, Frankston, 3199.

The location offers easy access and a beautiful setting by the water, ideal for a relaxing stroll.

Parking and public transport options are available nearby, making it convenient for local carers to attend.

This event is brought to you by Orwil Street Community House, Frankston City Council, and Brotherhood of St Laurence NDIS.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
