Experience the thrill of running, jumping, and throwing in a welcoming environment designed for children aged four to 15. These free sessions offer a fantastic opportunity for kids to build fitness, coordination, and confidence while having fun.
Participants will enjoy a variety of track and field activities suitable for all skill levels, with no prior experience needed. Local coaches and volunteers will be on hand to support and encourage every child.
A free barbeque adds to the fun atmosphere, making it a perfect outing for families to enjoy together.
These sessions are hosted by the Swan Valley Little Athletics Club and are held at Coolamon Oval. Children can expect to:
- Try different athletics disciplines including running, jumping, and throwing
- Develop teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship
- Work towards personal fitness and skill goals
- Meet new friends and community members
All necessary equipment is provided, so children only need to come dressed comfortably and ready to play.

Parents can easily reach the location by car, and parking is available nearby. The outdoor setting ensures plenty of fresh air and room for children to move freely.
Participants should wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes suitable for physical activity. Bringing a hat, water bottle, and sun protection is recommended to stay safe and comfortable.
No prior registration experience is necessary, but parents are encouraged to complete the Little Athletics registration form to reserve a spot.
