Talking to teenagers about consent, relationships, and online behaviour can feel challenging for many parents. This engaging and free webinar is designed specifically for parents and carers of teenagers who want to feel more confident in these important conversations.
Delivered by Consent Labs, a leading Australian not-for-profit specialising in consent and respectful relationships education, the session covers key topics such as the foundations of consent, navigating consent in the digital world, and recognising sexual harassment and assault.
You will also gain insight into the impact of alcohol and drugs on consent, current research on teenage relationships and behaviours, and the legal framework around consent and sexting.
This practical and informative webinar offers a safe space to ask questions and build your knowledge. You will receive tools to support your teenager as they develop healthy, respectful relationships.
The session is hosted by the Lower North Shore Domestic and Family Violence Network and The Safe Village Project.
