Step into a captivating one-hour planetarium journey designed for children aged 8 and over and their families. Experience Galileo’s groundbreaking astronomical discoveries, including the moons of Jupiter, phases of Venus, sunspots, and the Moon’s surface, brought to life with immersive visuals and live commentary.
This adventure is perfect for curious young minds eager to explore the universe and understand how Galileo transformed our view of the cosmos. After the show, enjoy gelato, hands-on pop-up activities, and telescope viewing on the Arena, weather permitting.
The program is supported by the Italian Australian Foundation, ensuring a rich and engaging educational experience.
The event runs on Thursday 20 August with two sessions: 6:30pm to 7:30pm and 8:00pm to 9:00pm. Doors open at 6:00pm to allow time to settle in.
Tickets are priced at $35 for adults and members, $33 for seniors and concession holders, and $20 for children 16 years and under. Booking in advance is recommended to secure your preferred session.
