Come and get your hands dirty these school holidays with an interactive workshop designed especially for school-aged children. Kids will explore an urban food garden, learning how food can be grown at home in a fun and engaging way. This workshop encourages creativity and environmental care through practical activities.
Children will learn how to propagate plants, start their own food garden, and discover the benefits of composting by making their own simple take-home compost that doesn’t stink. They will also create seed bombs to take home and green up their own spaces.
This event is a fantastic opportunity for children to connect with nature, understand sustainability, and develop a love for gardening in a supportive and hands-on environment.
The workshop is free for each child and their accompanying guardian, with a maximum of two children per parent or guardian. Snacks will be provided to keep the little gardeners energized throughout the session.
All children and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. The activities are suitable for school-aged children looking for a fun and educational holiday activity.
