Activity Details
The gardening sessions are held three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The community garden is managed by Kooralbyn Community Group Inc., and participation requires a minimal annual fee of just $5.
You can drop in any of the open days and join in the gardening activities, which include planting, weeding, watering, and general garden maintenance. It’s a flexible and informal setup, welcoming all skill levels.
The sessions run from early June through to mid-August 2026, providing plenty of opportunities to get involved during the cooler months.

The garden is located at 76 Routley Drive, Kooralbyn QLD 4285. It is easily accessible by car, with parking available nearby.
The garden space is open and outdoor, making it suitable for families and individuals who enjoy spending time in nature. It’s a safe and welcoming environment for children to learn about gardening and the environment.
Public transport options may be limited, so driving is recommended. The community garden is part of the Scenic Rim Regional Council initiatives.
Important Information
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work and bring sun protection such as hats and sunscreen. Gardening gloves are recommended but can be provided.
The $5 annual membership fee helps support the maintenance and development of the garden.
Children are welcome but should be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure safety around gardening tools and plants.
