Activity Details
The community garden is open three days a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You can drop in anytime during these hours to participate. The annual membership fee is just $5, making it an affordable way to engage in a healthy outdoor activity.
Participants will have the chance to dig, plant, water, and harvest, all while learning about sustainable gardening practices. It’s suitable for all ages and fitness levels, making it a family-friendly option.
Location and Access
The garden is located at 76 Routley Drive, Kooralbyn QLD 4285. The site is easily accessible by car, with parking available nearby. It’s a peaceful spot surrounded by nature, providing a perfect setting for gardening and relaxation.
Public transport options may be limited, so driving or carpooling is recommended. The garden is part of the Kooralbyn Community Group Inc., which supports local activities and events.
Important Information
Please wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor work and bring sun protection such as hats and sunscreen. Gardening gloves are recommended but can be provided on-site if needed.
The activity runs in all weather conditions except for extreme weather events. Refreshments are not provided, so bringing water and snacks is advised.
Children are welcome but should be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure safety.
