Discover the essentials of designing a thriving habitat and verge garden that benefits both your home and the environment. This engaging workshop is perfect for families and adults interested in sustainable gardening practices that attract pollinators and improve soil health.
In this session, you'll explore how native plants support local wildlife and conserve resources. The workshop covers the fundamentals of habitat and verge gardening, encouraging questions and lively discussion. All materials are provided, and you'll receive an informative booklet to take home.
The workshop is led by Habitat Connection Co., experts in restoring native habitats in suburban spaces through garden consulting and education. Their approach reconnects people with native plants and the wildlife they support, helping you create a garden alive with birds, bees, and other native species.
Held at the Holdfast Bay Community Centre, Room 1, located at 51 King George Avenue, Hove SA. The venue is accessible and welcoming for families and seniors. Parking and public transport options are available nearby.
This free workshop is open to residents of the City of Holdfast Bay and Marion. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended to secure your place. The session runs from 18:30 to 20:00, providing an evening opportunity to learn and engage.
Attendance is free, but bookings are required. You can register online through the provided booking website. For more information, contact Sam Buxton Stewart via email or phone.
