Celebrate Harmony Week in a unique and engaging way designed especially for homeschool families. This event offers a playful introduction to important cultural concepts such as moiety, kinship, and totems through the interactive Gurrtu Game. Children and parents alike will enjoy a hands-on experience that fosters understanding and respect for First Nations knowledge systems.
The session is designed to be both educational and fun, encouraging movement and guided activities that help bring cultural stories and traditions to life. After the activities, families are invited to share a BYO lunch together, creating a warm and welcoming community atmosphere.
A highlight of the day is the special Bunya Feast prepared by parents, adding a delicious and meaningful element to the gathering that celebrates connection and belonging.
This two-hour workshop runs on Monday, 16 March 2026, from 13:00 to 15:00 at Mudjimba Community Hall. It is donation-based, making it accessible for all families interested in cultural learning and community engagement.
