Experience the perfect blend of outdoor adventure and social fun with the Holiday Mayhem: Bush Walk and Op-Shopping excursion. This event invites young people aged 10 to 18 to explore the beautiful Kalamunda Hills on a guided bush walk, soaking in scenic views and fresh air. After the walk, participants will enjoy a picnic, so be sure to pack a tasty lunch.
Following the outdoor activities, the excitement continues with a visit to local op shops where each participant receives $20 to spend. This is a fantastic chance to discover unique treasures and express personal style on a budget.
This day is designed to encourage connection, activity, and creativity in a supportive group setting.
The excursion begins promptly at 9:00am at The Castle, a vibrant youth space in Thornlie. From there, the group travels to Kalamunda Hills for the bush walk. Participants should wear enclosed shoes suitable for hiking, socks, and bring a rain jacket and umbrella if rain is forecasted.
Sun protection is important, so hats and sunscreen are recommended along with a water bottle to stay hydrated. Remember to bring your own lunch for the picnic.
This event is strictly for ages 10-18, and registrations outside this age range will be cancelled. The cost is $18.65 per participant.
