The day starts with a hands-on pottery session led by Francesca Geronimo at Fra's Ceramics, where no prior experience is needed. After crafting their unique clay pieces, everyone will head to The Esplanade Park for a laid-back picnic lunch.
This event balances artistic exploration with social time, ideal for teenagers looking to try something new and make memories.
Participants aged 10-18 years are welcome to join this excursion. The day begins promptly at 9:00am at The Castle youth Centre, where everyone will meet before traveling to Fremantle.
Important to note: participants must wear socks and enclosed shoes suitable for the park, bring sun protection like hats and sunscreen, and carry a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the activities.
Lunch will be provided, ensuring everyone stays energized for the day's fun. Parents should arrange alternative transport if their child arrives late.
The pottery workshop takes place at Fra's Ceramics in Fremantle, a welcoming studio space perfect for creative learning. Following the session, the group will enjoy a picnic at The Esplanade Park, a scenic spot ideal for relaxing outdoors.
