What to Expect
Step back millions of years to when giant marine reptiles ruled the seas. This immersive exhibition showcases fascinating specimens from the WA Museum collection, including fossil impressions and 3D models of ancient ocean predators. Children will be captivated by the life-sized displays and hands-on touch tables.
Young explorers can participate in the Great Mythical Sea Monster Hunt, a self-guided activity throughout the museum offering a chance to win a LEGO® Creator 3-in-1 Fierce Shark set. Additionally, the Sea Creatures Colouring Competition invites kids to bring these amazing creatures to life with colour.
This event is designed for children aged 5-12 years, with some adult assistance recommended. It’s a fantastic way to engage curious minds with natural history and creativity.
