This workshop runs on 2026-05-30 from 10:00 to 13:00 at The Summit Community Centre, located at 4 Crescent Dr, Norton Summit SA 5136. The session lasts three hours, providing ample time to complete your denim bag.
The class is suitable for adults and youth with basic sewing experience, and all materials are provided. The workshop is led by the Wild Woman of Willunga, an expert passionate about upcycling and sustainable fashion.
Please note the workshop cost is $15, covering all tuition and materials. Spots are limited, so early booking is recommended.
The workshop takes place at The Summit Community Centre, a welcoming venue with accessible facilities including disabled parking, toilets, and ramps. Parking is limited onsite, so carpooling or parking along Crescent Drive or near Norton Summit Primary School is advised.
The centre is LGBTQI+ friendly, dementia friendly, and breastfeeding is welcome. Facilities include a kitchen, baby change table, and a comfortable meeting environment.
For your convenience, the centre is equipped with a commercial dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and fridge for refreshments.
The workshop will be cancelled if an Extreme or Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating is declared for the Mt Lofty Ranges, with refunds or rescheduling offered.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring a torch if attending evening events, and take care when crossing roads near parking areas.
