HSC English Workshop: The Craft of Writing

Activity Details

The workshop runs for 1 hour and 30 minutes, guided by experienced English teacher and HSC marker Dianne Berios. Students should bring a charged laptop, snacks, and a water bottle to stay comfortable and engaged throughout the session. Key prescribed texts discussed include works by Ray Bradbury, Catherine Cole, Judith Wright, Robert Frost, Nam Le, Colum McCann, Zadie Smith, Margaret Atwood, Gwen Harwood, and Noel Pearson.

Location and Access

Held at Marrickville Library and Pavilion, the venue is fully accessible with lifts and facilities for people using wheelchairs and other mobility aids. A hearing loop is also available to support participants with hearing impairments. The location is convenient and welcoming, providing a supportive environment for all attendees.
