Get ready for one of Perth's most loved community festivals! The Hyde Park Festival returns in 2026 with two huge days filled with family fun, delicious food, vibrant music, and rich local culture. This event is perfect for families looking to enjoy a lively atmosphere with plenty of activities for all ages.
You can explore over 200 market stalls featuring makers, creators, and artisan goods, plus more than 50 food stalls offering a variety of tasty treats from across Western Australia. Enjoy live music, dance groups, cultural performances, and roaming entertainers that will keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
Kids will love the rides and free activations, including animal encounters and Talent in the Park. Bring your picnic blanket and relax under the shady trees of Hyde Park while soaking up the festival vibes.
Activity Details
The festival runs for two days: Sunday 1 March 2026 from 10:00 to 19:30 and Monday 2 March 2026 from 10:00 to 17:00. Entry is free for all family members, including your four-legged friends.
All proceeds raised by the Rotary Club of North Perth will be donated to Little Things for Tiny Tots, supporting families in need with essential baby care items. This makes your attendance not only fun but also meaningful.

Location and Access
Hyde Park is located in North Perth, Western Australia. Due to limited parking around the park, a free shuttle bus service will operate on both days to help you get there easily. The shuttle runs hourly on Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00 and Monday from 09:00 to 16:00, stopping at Brisbane Street carpark, City of Vincent Library Loftus Centre carpark, East Perth Train Station Summers Street, and Hyde Park itself.
There are also several carparks on Beaufort Street where you can park and walk to the festival. Alternatively, consider walking or biking to enjoy a stress-free arrival.
Important Information
The festival is family-friendly and pet-friendly, welcoming all ages and four-legged friends. It is an outdoor event, so dress comfortably and be prepared for the weather.
Please respect the local community and use the shuttle services or alternative transport options to reduce congestion and parking difficulties.
