Step into the exciting world of music production with Ignite Music's Beat Making 101 workshop. This interactive session is designed especially for young people eager to learn how to create their own tracks from scratch using Ableton Live software. Whether your teen dreams of producing music or is simply curious about how songs come to life, this workshop offers a supportive and creative environment to explore.
Participants will dive into the foundations of song creation, including building drum loops, layering instruments, shaping melodies, and structuring a full track. Along the way, they'll experiment with different sounds and discover how collaboration can elevate their projects.
This workshop is perfect for teenagers aged 14 to 25 who want to unleash their creativity and gain practical skills in music production without needing any prior experience.
The workshop is free to attend but requires registration to secure a place. All necessary equipment and supplies will be provided, so participants only need to bring their curiosity and a willingness to experiment. Lunch is not provided, so attendees should bring their own.
Registrations open on Monday, 23 March at 8:30am, and places are limited due to high demand. Participants are encouraged to cancel if they can no longer attend to allow others the opportunity to join.
This session will be held once, providing a focused and immersive experience for young music enthusiasts.
