Ignite Music Production Course (Intermediate) offers young musicians an exciting opportunity to enhance their skills in music production using industry-standard software. Guided by experienced producers, participants will dive into intermediate techniques that bring their original tracks to life.
This course is designed for those who already have some experience with Ableton Live and want to explore new creative possibilities. It’s perfect for teenagers and young adults eager to connect with like-minded peers and develop their sound.
Expect a collaborative and immersive environment where creativity flows and technical skills grow.
The program covers key topics such as navigating Ableton Live's 'Session View,' mastering audio effects racks, mixing techniques, sound design with synthesizers, and advanced MIDI and audio processing.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptops, but computers are available if needed. The course is open to young people aged 14 to 25 years.
Classes run weekly on Thursdays, starting from the second week of the school term, with sessions lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes each.
The course takes place at The Underground, located at 2 Holmes Street, Southern River, WA 6110.
This venue is accessible and provides a creative space tailored for youth programs.
Parents can feel confident their children are in a safe, welcoming environment conducive to learning and collaboration.
Participants should not attend if unwell to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved.
The program follows the Western Australian public holiday schedule and will not operate on those days.
