Step into a world of creativity and exploration designed especially for teens aged 12 to 18. This workshop invites young artists to become art travelers, discovering how to illustrate famous monuments like the Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, and Big Ben. Participants will learn to blend grand architectural symbols with imaginative details, crafting stories through their artwork.
Inspired by playful city scenes from London, Paris, and Tokyo, teens will experiment with composition, expressive touches, and atmosphere to create unique travel-themed pieces. This is a perfect opportunity for young creatives to develop their artistic voice while having fun.
The workshop runs for two hours, from 13:00 to 15:00, on Thursday, 16 July 2026. It is a hands-on session where all materials and snacks are provided, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. The event is proudly 50% subsidised by Ku-ring-gai Council, making it accessible for more young people in the community.
Participants will be guided through techniques of illustration and composition, focusing on storytelling through art. Registration is required as spots are limited, so early booking is recommended.
