What to Expect
This workshop is more than just dance; it’s an embodied experience honoring International Women’s Day. You will explore the body, especially the pelvis, as a political and cultural space shaped by history, identity, and resistance.
Expect a reflective opening circle to set the tone, followed by cultural context discussions and somatic exploration. The session includes twerk technique practice and collective dance, culminating in a meaningful closing ritual.
This inclusive space welcomes all bodies and experience levels, encouraging reconnection beyond shame or performance.
