Learn how to safely use studio lighting setups, access a variety of digital tools and musical instruments, and get familiar with powerful software including Adobe Creative Cloud, Davinci Resolve, and Audacity. This session is perfect for parents looking to support their children's creative interests or for anyone eager to develop new media skills.
You'll also hear about upcoming workshops and how to book the Media Lab space for your own projects.
The induction covers essential skills such as simple studio lighting techniques and navigating the Media Lab's digital and musical resources. Participants will gain confidence in using professional-grade equipment like DSLR cameras, GoPros, and podcasting kits.
The session runs for two hours, providing ample time to ask questions and get hands-on experience. It's a free event but requires prior booking due to limited spaces.
