Junior rangers will embark on a fun and educational journey through Bobbin Head, discovering the park's smallest inhabitants and learning about the natural environment. Activities include short walks on flat terrain, foraging, and interactive exploration designed to engage young minds and encourage appreciation for wildlife.
Activity Details
The tour runs from 11:00 to 12:30, with arrival recommended by 10:45. It is suitable for children aged 6 to 12 and involves walking less than 1km with some squatting and reaching. The grade is easy, making it accessible for all participants. Adults attend free but must accompany children.
Location and Access
Meet at the Bobbin Head Visitor Centre within Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, near Hornsby. The terrain is flat and easy to navigate, ensuring a comfortable experience for families. Park entry fees apply separately.
Important Information
Participants should bring a hat, sunscreen, drinking water, a morning snack, and a raincoat to be prepared for varying weather conditions. Bookings are required and can be made by phone or online. Group tours are available upon request.
