What to Expect
Enjoy a fun and educational experience at Kew Traffic School this Winter school holidays. Children can bring their own scooters or bikes to practice riding skills and learn important traffic rules in a safe miniature village setting. The venue also offers playful features such as cubby houses, a mini train, and a mini tram to keep the kids entertained.
Sessions are designed for different age groups, ensuring age-appropriate activities and supervision. This is a great opportunity for children to develop confidence and road safety awareness while having a blast with friends.
The environment is welcoming and encourages active play, making it perfect for parents looking for a safe and engaging holiday activity.
Activity Details
- Sessions run Monday to Friday during the Winter school holidays from 7 July to 18 July 2025.
- Up to 6 years old: 09:00 to 10:30.
- 2 to 10 years old: 11:00 to 12:30.
- Every Tuesday and Thursday, an additional session for 2 to 10-year-olds runs from 13:30 to 15:00.
- Bookings are required for each child using the track, with a maximum of 6 children per session per booking.
- Children must bring their own bicycle or scooter and wear helmets at all times.
Location and Access
Kew Traffic School is located at 374 Cotham Road, Kew VIC 3101. The venue is designed to be accessible and family-friendly, with facilities that support children’s safety and enjoyment.
Access keys, including a social story, are available for download from Access Ability Australia’s website or app, ensuring inclusivity for all children.
Parents are encouraged to bring picnic rugs and snacks to keep their little riders refreshed during the sessions.
Important Information
Full adult supervision is mandatory during all sessions to ensure children’s safety.
Helmets must be worn at all times while riding on the track.
Bookings open on Monday 23 June 2025, so be sure to reserve your child’s spot early.
The entry fee applies only to children who will be using the track.
Booking and Prices
The cost is $11 per child, with an early bird price of $10.50 if booked before 30 June 2025.
Bookings can be made online through the City of Boroondara website or by contacting Kew Traffic School directly.
Spaces are limited to 6 children per session, so early booking is recommended to secure your preferred time slot.
