Dive into the wonderful world of ceramics with our Kids Clay Club, where children aged 5 and above can explore their creativity through hands-on clay projects. Each week focuses on a new 'Under The Sea' themed creation, helping kids develop skills in shaping, decorating, and glazing.
Our experienced ceramicist, Svetlana Panov, guides the children through exciting projects like heart dishes, fish plates, coral sculptures, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to learn new techniques while having fun in a supportive environment.
The classes are designed to nurture artistic expression and fine motor skills, making it perfect for young learners who love to get their hands messy and create beautiful, functional art.
The term runs for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, starting 10 February and ending 31 March 2026. Each session builds on the last, with projects including:
- Week 1: Heart Dishes
- Week 2: Fish Plate with Scales
- Week 3: Coral Inspired Sculpture
- Week 4: Turtle Dish
- Week 5: Koi Fish Mobile
- Week 6: Mini Whale Planter
- Week 7: Glazing Techniques
- Week 8: Finalising Glazing and Finishing Touches
Parents or guardians are required to remain on site during the workshops to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
