Celebrate Children's Week with a delightful day of art, play, and imagination designed especially for families. Set in the enchanting Duldig Studio sculpture garden, once home to renowned artists Karl Duldig and Slawa Horowitz-Duldig, this event offers a unique opportunity for children to engage with art in a hands-on, interactive environment.
Families will embark on a creative adventure through various activity stations. Children can enjoy clay modelling inspired by Karl Duldig's sculptures, craft paper butterflies, cats, frogs, and ladybirds, and participate in sculpture garden hunts and puzzles. There is also a special peek into Slawa’s ingenious umbrella invention, adding a touch of historical creativity to the experience.
The event runs on Sunday, 26 October 2025, with two sessions available: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Each session is designed to engage children in artistic exploration and playful learning. After the activities, families are encouraged to relax and enjoy a picnic under the trees in the beautiful sculpture garden, making it a perfect day out.
The event takes place at The Duldig Studio Museum + Sculpture Garden, located at 92 Burke Road, Malvern East 3145. The garden provides a serene and inspiring setting for children and families to connect with art and nature. The venue is accessible and offers a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
Please note the cost of attendance is $15. Booking is required to secure your place. The event is suitable for families with children and encourages participation in all activities. Remember to bring a blanket for the picnic and dress comfortably for creative play.
Tickets are priced at $15 per participant. Booking in advance is essential to guarantee entry to one of the two sessions. For bookings and further information, contact the Duldig Studio directly. This event promises a memorable and enriching experience for children and their families, combining art, history, and outdoor fun.
