Dive into the rich culinary heritage of Lebanese butchery with a live cooking demonstration hosted by Sunday Kitchen's Karima Hazim and Sivine Tabbouch alongside Sami and Ali Hamka of Sami & Sons Butchery. Watch as they prepare kibbeh nayeh, a traditional Lebanese dish, while sharing stories about the intergenerational knowledge and migration histories that shape these food traditions.
This event offers a unique opportunity to explore the relationship between butchers, producers, and Lebanese culinary culture in Western Sydney. Attendees will also enjoy a small tasting, immersing themselves in authentic flavors.
Recommended for ages 12 and up, with under 16s required to be accompanied by a participating adult, this demonstration promises to be both educational and delicious.
The demonstration is scheduled for Sunday, 2026-11-08, from 14:30 to 15:30. The ticket price is $30 per person, which includes free entry to the museum and access to four exhibitions: The Mall, The Dark, Overflow, and Es Devlin: The Turning.
