What to Expect
Join a warm and supportive online session designed especially for parents and carers of children with developmental delays or disabilities. This interactive talk introduces the PERMA wellbeing framework from positive psychology, helping you understand how your own wellbeing impacts your child's learning and behaviour. Expect practical tips and activities that empower you to shift from survival mode to a more positive mindset.
You'll gain insight into simple, evidence-based strategies that promote happiness and resilience for the whole family. Facilitated by a trained parent-peer worker, this session offers a chance to connect with others who share your experiences in a safe, understanding environment.
Activity Details
This event is tailored for parents, primary carers, and family members of children aged 0-8 years with disabilities or developmental concerns. It runs for 1.5 hours on Wednesday evening, providing a convenient time for busy families. The session includes an activity to experience improved wellbeing in real time, making the learning practical and memorable.
The talk is delivered online via Zoom, so you can participate from the comfort of your home. Instructions and the meeting link will be emailed to you after registration. A stable internet connection is required to join the session.

Important Information
The session is free to attend but requires RSVP to secure your spot. A minimum of four RSVPs is needed for the event to proceed, so your confirmation is important. Only one ticket per family is allowed.
