What to Expect
Rediscover your love for the library with a full space takeover at Hurstville Library. This event offers a vibrant mix of interactive experiences designed to engage the whole family. From VR drop-ins and green screen activations to sound recording and DJ lessons, there’s something exciting around every corner.
Kids and families will enjoy special Storytimes, a super scavenger hunt, an escape room challenge, and creative activities such as bookmark and badge making, plus Lego play. It’s a perfect day out to spark creativity and curiosity in children.
You can also learn how to preserve your old media like VHS tapes and film photos at the Digitisation Station, with live demos from the Library Research and Community History Team. Plus, enjoy the unveiling of a new public artwork and vote for the People’s Choice award in the Summer Photo Bingo exhibition.
