Filing taxes can feel overwhelming, but this workshop offers a calm, supportive environment where young people can get hands-on help completing their tax returns. You'll have the chance to organize your documents, calculate your expected refund, and submit your return with confidence.
Expert facilitators from Empower2Free will guide you through each step, making the process less daunting and more manageable. Bring your laptop and ensure you have access to ATO via MyGov to make the most of the session.
This is a perfect opportunity for young people aged 14 to 25 to gain essential life skills in a no-stress space designed just for you.
This workshop is part of the Life Skills for Young People series held at Victoria Park Library. It runs for two hours, from 10:00 to 12:00 on Saturday, 15 August 2026.
The session will cover:
- Calculating your projected tax payable and PAYG refund
- Identifying and collating all necessary documents
- Completing and submitting your tax return with support
