This exciting session is designed to equip children aged 5 to 12 with vital skills to stay safe in and around water. It’s a perfect opportunity for parents to help their kids build confidence and awareness in a supportive environment.
Children will participate in water activities focused on safety and basic lifeguard skills. The session encourages active learning and fun, ensuring kids remain engaged while gaining important knowledge. Parents must enrol their children in the concurrent Empowered to Swim session from 3-4pm to access this activity.
- Age range: 5-12 years
- Duration: 1 hour
- Requirements: Swimwear, cap, goggles, towel, water bottle, and spare clothes
- Spare swim gear available to borrow if needed
Held at the indoor heated 25m pool at Acacia Ridge Leisure Centre, located at 1391 Beaudesert Road, Acacia Ridge. The venue offers a safe and comfortable environment for children to learn and play.
