Little Lifeguards for Kids is a fun and engaging water safety session designed specifically for children aged 5 to 12 years. This activity helps young ones develop confidence and essential skills for staying safe in and around water. Parents can feel reassured knowing their children are learning valuable lessons in a supportive environment.
The session runs alongside the Empowered to Swim class, requiring parental enrolment in both. Children will enjoy a safe, outdoor heated pool setting, perfect for building water confidence and swimming skills.
Participants will be guided by experienced instructors who provide both instruction and encouragement, making the experience enjoyable and educational.
This one-hour session takes place on Friday, 30 October 2026, from 11:30 to 12:30. Children must bring swimwear, a cap, goggles, a towel, a water bottle, and spare clothes. For those who need them, the Aqua English Project offers spare togs, caps, and goggles to borrow.
The activity focuses on fitness and well-being through water activities, emphasizing safety and skill development. Bookings are essential and can be made via SMS, WhatsApp, or email.
This is a great opportunity for kids to gain confidence in the water while having fun in a safe, supervised environment.
The event is held at Chermside Pool, located at 375 Hamilton Road, Chermside. The meeting point is the outdoor heated pool, easily accessible for families in the Brisbane area.
Chermside Pool offers a family-friendly atmosphere with clean facilities and a safe swimming environment. Parents can relax nearby while their children participate.
Public transport and parking options are available around the venue, making it convenient for families to attend.
Please ensure your child arrives prepared with all necessary swim gear to maximize their experience. The session requires parental enrolment in the concurrent Empowered to Swim class.
Safety is a top priority; instructors are trained to provide a secure and supportive environment for all participants.
