What to Expect
Step into the warm and inviting kitchen of MaaMaa and Nonna, two grandmothers from Chinese and Italian backgrounds, in this immersive theatre experience designed especially for young children and their carers. This multilingual interactive performance invites little cooks to don aprons and get hands-on with dough, making traditional mantao and focaccia from scratch. The experience culminates in a joyful shared feast celebrating family, culture, and food.
Filled with songs, stories, and culinary magic, this playful workshop is perfect for toddlers aged 2 to 4, encouraging sensory play and cultural connection in a fun, messy environment. Parents and carers will delight in watching their children explore new textures and tastes while bonding over shared traditions.
