Discover the joy of repairing and creating with the Make & Mend Afternoon at UniSQ Library Makerspace. This welcoming event invites you to bring your own projects, whether it’s fixing clothing, working on cosplay, or exploring new crafting ideas. You’ll have access to sewing machines, 3D printers, and other Makerspace equipment to help bring your ideas to life. The sessions are open to UniSQ students and the public, with a friendly atmosphere that encourages creativity and collaboration.
Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult, and all participants are required to wear shoes for safety. Drop in anytime between 1 PM and 4 PM to work at your own pace.
The Make & Mend Afternoon runs on multiple Thursdays throughout the year, providing flexible opportunities to attend. Each session lasts three hours, giving you plenty of time to focus on your projects or learn new techniques.
Please note that realistic prop weaponry is not permitted in the Makerspace, but fantasy and sci-fi props are allowed. This ensures a safe and comfortable space for everyone.
