Step into a creative and collaborative environment where you can repair clothing, work on cosplay, or bring any BYO project to life. This is a wonderful opportunity to pick up new skills using sewing machines, 3D printers, and other Makerspace equipment.
Whether you're a UniSQ student or a member of the public, you'll find a welcoming space to socialize and get hands-on with your projects. Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.
Come anytime between 1 PM and 4 PM and enjoy a relaxed afternoon dedicated to making and mending.
The Makerspace is located in R104, Level 1 R Block within the UniSQ Library. This drop-in event runs for three hours, giving you plenty of time to focus on your project or learn new techniques.
You will have access to a variety of tools and machines, including sewing machines and 3D printers, perfect for a range of creative and repair tasks.
Please remember to wear shoes for safety, and bring along your own materials and projects to work on.
The event takes place at UniSQ Toowoomba, 487-535 West St, Darling Heights QLD 4350. The Makerspace is easily accessible within the library building, located on Level 1, R Block.
