Dive into a creative space designed for makers of all experience levels, especially those passionate about design, creation, and experimentation. Whether you're a seasoned maker or just curious, this session offers hands-on access to a variety of makerspace equipment.
Explore tools such as 3D printers, electronic kits, laser cutters, simple robotics kits, and hand tools. Bring your own project ideas or get inspired by the collaborative atmosphere.
This is not a traditional class or workshop; instead, it’s a self-directed, supportive environment where guidance is available but your creativity leads the way.
Makertime runs fortnightly with sessions scheduled on Saturdays and Tuesdays from September to December 2026. Each session lasts two hours, providing ample time to work on your projects.
The sessions are suitable for adults aged 16 and over, welcoming all skill levels with no prior experience required. Bookings are essential, and tickets are limited to three per booking.
Late arrivals after 6pm will not be admitted due to library closing times, and no refunds or transfers will be issued for late arrivals.
Held at Darling Square Library, Levels 1 and 2, The Exchange, 1 Little Pier Street, Haymarket NSW 2000, this makerspace is accessible and inclusive.
The library and lift access close at 6pm, so plan your arrival accordingly. If you have specific access or communication needs, assistance is available by contacting the Makerspace Programs Coordinator.

It is not a structured workshop but offers guidance on using equipment safely and effectively.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own project ideas but can also explore new skills with the available equipment.
Tickets cost $15 per adult and must be booked in advance. Each booking can include up to three tickets.
Due to limited spaces, early booking is recommended to secure your spot.
No refunds or transfers will be given for late arrivals or missed sessions.
