Youth participants include members from St. John Marion Youth, Mawson District Scouts, West Met Region Girl Guides, and the Australian Air Force Cadets 609 Squadron. They will stand guard in shifts as a tribute leading up to the ANZAC Day Dawn Service the next morning.

The vigil is held at the Marion Returned Services League (RSL), located at 31-39 Norfolk Road, Marion. Parking is conveniently available off Norfolk Road.
