What to Expect
Participants will enjoy two coaching sessions where experienced facilitators assess each rider's skill level and provide personalized guidance. - Equipment: Participants must bring their own helmet, closed-in shoes, and scooter/BMX/skateboard. Coaches may assist with minor equipment adjustments if time permits.
- Note: Plastic 3-wheeled scooters and plastic rollerskates are not suitable for these workshops.
Location and Access
The coaching takes place at McCallum Park Active Area in Victoria Park, a well-known local skatepark easily accessible by car or public transport. Ample space is available for parking and spectators. The park provides a safe and vibrant setting for young riders to practice and learn.
Important Information
All participants must wear helmets for safety. It is recommended to bring water and apply sunscreen to stay hydrated and protected. Arriving 15 minutes early is advised to complete registration and sign the required disclaimer form. Limited spare scooters and skateboards may be available, but participants should ideally bring their own equipment.
