Freestyle Now invites your children to an exciting and free skatepark coaching session designed specifically for kids aged 5 to 12. This is a fantastic opportunity for young riders to build confidence and improve their skills in a supportive environment.
What to Expect
The coaching sessions are tailored to each participant's skill level, ensuring everyone progresses at their own pace. Coaches will provide motivational and informative guidance while encouraging fun and safe riding. Participants should bring their own equipment, including helmets and closed-in shoes, to ensure safety and full participation.
Activity Details
- Two sessions available: 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM
- Coaches may assist with minor equipment adjustments such as scooter or BMX bar straightening and skate or rollerskate truck/wheel tightening before sessions start, time permitting
- Helmets are mandatory, and sunscreen and water are recommended
- Plastic three-wheeled scooters and plastic rollerskates are not suitable for these workshops
- A disclaimer form must be signed on the day
Location and Access
The event takes place at McCallum Park Active Area, Victoria Park. This accessible outdoor venue is perfect for skateboarding, scootering, and roller skating activities. Please arrive 15 minutes early to register and prepare for the session.
Important Information
Participants must bring their own equipment and wear helmets for safety. Limited spare scooters and skateboards may be available, but it is best to come prepared. The coaching sessions are designed to be inclusive and supportive, helping children gain confidence and enjoy physical activity in a fun setting.
