Discover how to use simple smartphone settings like portrait mode and manual focus to add depth, mood, and cinematic lighting to your photos. Experiment with low-fi lighting effects using handheld torches, foil, and color gels to create unique miniature-scale visuals. Build imaginative mini worlds with natural materials such as sand and leaves to enhance your LEGO scenes.
This fast-paced, hands-on workshop encourages teamwork between adults and kids, making it a fun and educational experience for families. Whether you're a photography novice or a LEGO enthusiast, this event offers something exciting for everyone.
The workshop is scheduled for Monday, 28 September 2026, from 10:30 to 12:00. It will be held at Hurstville Library, located at the corner of Queens Road and Dora Street, Hurstville. The event is free of charge but requires prior booking due to limited spaces.
Participants aged 12 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who stays in the library for the duration of the program. For safety, one adult can supervise a maximum of four children (1:4 ratio). Contact details for parents or guardians must be provided for participants under 16.
Late arrivals beyond 10 minutes may be moved to the standby queue if space is limited. If you cannot attend, please cancel your booking at least three hours before the event to allow others to participate.
