Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Mort Bay Park by joining the Bushcare volunteer group. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to connect with nature and contribute to the preservation of local coastal rainforest and sandstone heath environments.
What to Expect
Volunteers gather on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month to work together on restoring and maintaining native bushland. You will have the chance to learn about the unique native plants and wildlife that inhabit this vibrant ecosystem. The sessions are hands-on and suitable for those new to bushcare.
Activity Details
Training is provided for all new volunteers, ensuring you feel confident and equipped. All necessary tools are supplied, and a morning tea break offers a chance to relax and socialize with fellow volunteers. The work involves practical conservation tasks in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Important Information
