Immerse yourself in nature and community spirit with the Mort Bay Park Bushcare program. This rewarding activity invites families and individuals to contribute to the preservation of local native bushland while learning about the unique coastal rainforest and sandstone heath ecosystems.

What to Expect

Volunteers gather on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month to engage in hands-on bushcare activities. You'll have the chance to learn about native plants and wildlife, work alongside experienced volunteers, and enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty of Mort Bay. Training and tools are provided, making it accessible even for beginners.

Location and Access

The event takes place at Mort Bay Community Garden, located on McKell Street in Birchgrove, NSW. While there are no specific accessibility support options for this event, the garden is a welcoming outdoor space easily reached by local transport.
